Networking on social media (RUDAI Thing #10)
I have been a Facebook member since 2009 and through these years I have followed pages and joined groups on various subjects.
The two professional groups I have kept and follow the last years are the:
1. Library Think Tank - #ALATT: a public group of information professionals around the world exchanging news, ideas thoughts and photographs on our profession, libraries, books, etc.
2. Library Group, iSchool (University of Sheffield): a private group in which the members are graduates of the Library School of the University of Sheffield. It is mostly used to announce job vacancies, news on conferences/seminars/courses and stories related to the library world.
